Pirate’s Town Dinner Theater offers food and fun for a night to remember. The fun begins before you even enter the building. The outside of the building is decorated with a plethora of pirate scenarios. Your little ones will enjoy playing on a full sized replica of a pirate ship. Here they can pretend to shoot canons, steer the ship, or climb the ropes.

Once inside the fun continues as you can get a group photo taken with a pirate. You can also shop for pirate-themed gifts for your little one. Pirate hats, swords, eye patches and more are available to help you and your little one get into the pirate spirit.

After dividing into groups you will enter the theater and find your seats. Before you will be a giant pirate ship that will serve as the stage for the theatrical performance. Waitresses serve your drinks and bring out your food. First course is a tossed garden salad or tomato bisque soup. For the main course you can choose between an oven-roasted half chicken or beef sirloin kabobs both served with Caribbean rice and steamed vegetables. A vegetarian lasagna is also an option. And for the kids they offer chicken nuggets served with mac and cheese. For dessert your are offered a fudge brownie a la mode. The food is surprisingly good.

The show begins soon after receiving your food. It’s a simple story line: Can the heroic Benjamin rescue Princess Anita from the jaws of an angry Sea Dragon while fending off a crew of cutthroat Sea Dogs? The show features all the swashbuckling action you’d expect in a pirate adventure (i.e., sword fights) plus some nice unexpected action- aerialists and acrobatics. The ship is actually surrounded by a 300,000 gallon lagoon which is utilized throughout the show for water effects as well as a location for some of the action.

The show lives up to its hype as “World’s Most Interactive Dinner Show” when guests are brought on stage to be a part of the show. Young and old alike are chosen to participate and makes for the highlight of the show.

There is no shortage of entertainment options in Orlando but the Pirate’s Town Dinner Adventure is one you should put at the top of your list.
