The Orlando Eye is the latest attraction in the theme park capital of the world: Orlando, Florida. It offers a new and unique way to experience the beauty of Orlando as if effortlessly lifts you up to 400 feet in the air. From this height you will experience breath-taking 360 degree views of surrounding Central Florida.
Located at I-Drive 360, a new entertainment complex on International Drive that includes a Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, Sea Life Aquarium and numerous shops and restaurants, The Orlando Eye is the tallest observation wheel on the east coast of the USA.
You begin your adventure in the 4D Cinema Experience where you take an inspiring journey through Orlando and Central Florida. The 4D Cinema Experience brings the area to life through unique perspectives and multi-sensory special effects, including wind, water and smell.
After completing the 4D Cinema Experience you wait your turn to board your capsule on The Orlando Eye. The gradual rotation in one of the 30 glass-enclosed, high-tech capsules gives you an ever changing perspective. Each capsule contains Apple iPad Air tablets which allow you to explore and learn more about the landmarks and surroundings in several languages and effectively see beyond what the eye can see.
A flight on The Orlando Eye will lift you high enough to see the sights of downtown Orlando’s skyline, nearby theme parks, beautiful lakes and lush landscapes, with views all the way to Cape Canaveral on Florida’s east coast. If you time your visit to coincide with a rocket launch at Kennedy Space Center you will have a spectacular view of the launch.
You can make your flight even more special with Champagne Experiences and private capsules to host your own exclusive events. Operating hours vary by season but The Orlando Eye flight experience starts daily at 10am.
